Ellis McGehee Carter, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, is the founder and managing partner of Caritas Law Group P.C. in Phoenix, Arizona. Caritas Law Group P.C. exclusively represents tax-exempt, nonprofit and mission-based businesses with respect to corporate and tax needs.

Ellis spent 13 years practicing with large firms before forming Caritas Law Group P.C. in 2010. Ellis has been selected by her peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, Nonprofit/Charities Law (2007-2014) and is peer-rated “AV Preeminent” (the highest rating) by Martindale Hubbell.
