George pioneered the application of person-centered planning principles to the design and construction of homes for people with disabilities. In addition to developing welcoming and inclusive single and multi-family homes for people with Intellectual Disability/Developmental Disability (ID/DD), George’s recent work involves developing inclusive, authentic communities for all citizens and assisting families by creating living situations that allow individuals and their families to remain together and flourish for as long as they choose.
In more than 30 years as a general contractor, Braddock Construction completed more than 1,500 projects for people with disabilities. Creative Housing Solutions has contributed significantly in developing housing opportunities for more than 1,000 people returning to community living from large state institutions in Oregon, Washington, California and Indiana from 1986 to the present.
George has an adult daughter with disabilities and an adult stepson with autism.
