Since 1996, Sara has been president and CEO of Sara Dial & Associates, an economic development consulting firm specializing in site selection, economic and community development, and government relations for both public- and private-sector clients. She recently added executive coaching to her consulting services. She has led high-profile economic development initiatives in Arizona, including the restructuring of Arizona’s statewide economic development organization under Governor Janice Brewer, which resulted in the creation of the Arizona Commerce Authority.
Sara is active in the Greater Phoenix community and has served on or chaired many local and national community boards and commissions. Current community and corporate board involvement includes First Place AZ (past chairman), Barrow Neurological Foundation (emeritus trustee), Childhelp USA (emeritus director), Activate Food Arizona (co-founder and director), Grand Canyon Education, Inc. (lead director) and WillScot Mobile Mini Holding Corp. (director). Sara has also served as a former board member of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and chaired its annual community breakfast fundraisers.
