Steven A. Betts

Betts Real Estate Advisors Founder & President

Steve Betts is the founder and president of Betts Real Estate Advisors. He previously served as president of Chanen Construction Company, leading new business development in Arizona and markets across the U.S.

Steve is a member and past chairman of the Urban Land Institute-Arizona District Council Governance Committee, immediate past chairman and current member of the Teach For America Phoenix board, serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. He is also a Governor Janice Brewer-appointed member of the Transportation and Trade Corridor Alliance, vice chair of the Arizona Town Hall, chairman of the Interstate 11 Coalition and trustee of The Nature Conservancy. Steve serves on the board of the Greater Maricopa Foreign Trade Zone and is a member of the Maricopa Association of Governments Economic Development Committee. He has also served as the chairman of Valley Partnership, a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership and honorary base commander of Luke Air Force Base. Steve was appointed by Governor Jane Hull as a member of the Growing Smarter Commission and then by Governor Janet Napolitano to the Growing Smarter Oversight Council.

Steve has been an active supporter of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) and the ULI Arizona Technical Assistant Program advancing a residential plan for adults with autism and related disorders. He serves as a real estate advisor and member of the First Place®AZ capital campaign cabinet.
