Chuck currently serves as CFO, bringing extensive expertise in auditing, leasing and financial reporting to First Place. Chuck is a former partner at Ernst & Young LLP, where he served in the audit practice for more than 30 years. Chuck served clients in various industries throughout his career, with a focus on healthcare. He started his career in the firm’s Louisville office before transferring to the Phoenix office in 1995, from where he retired in 2018.

Chuck is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Arizona Society of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In addition to his role on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy, he also serves on the finance committee of two not-for-profit organizations. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting major from the University of Louisville. His daughter Lauren is a resident of First Place–Phoenix.
